Christopher Douglas was born in Knoxville, Tennessee. He went to the University of Tennessee where he studied medicine. He was Bitten by the modeling bug, and started his career doing shoots for Gianni Versace and Armani. Douglas was fired from "Young and the Restless, The in July of 2001 because of a reported power struggle between head writer Kay Alden and exective producer Edward Scott and his role was recast with David Lee Russek. He starred in the movies Assault on Devil's Island (1997) (TV) and Playing Mona Lisa (2000).
