Duane Whitaker

Duane Whitaker came to L.A. from Lubbock, Texas in the early eighties to pursue an acting career. He began writing and directing plays as well as working in film and television. Four of his plays have been produced in Los Angeles, including "Eddie Presley", which was adapted and became his first produced screenplay. He also wrote the screenplay "Stripteaser" which was released on video in 1995. Duane continued to work as an actor and scored the role of Maynard in Quentin Tarantino's "Pulp Fiction". He then co-wrote the feature film, "From Dusk 'Till Dawn 2: Texas Blood Money" with director Scott Spiegel and co-stars with Robert Patrick and Bo Hopkins. He wrote and directed a low budget feature, "together & alone", which screened in Park City, Utah during the Sundance Film Festival.
