Erik Estrada was born March 16, 1949 in New York, New York. He has been in several television roles. He played in a Mexican "telenovela" (soap opera) in the early '90's. Unlike many characters he's played, Estrada doesn't speak Spanish, so his lines were fed to him over an earphone during production. He is the face of D.A.R.E. an organization for a drug-free America. He was married to Joyce Miller, Peggy Rowe, who he had t sons with and is not married to Nanette Mirkovich. His daughter, Francesca Natalia, was born January 5, 2000 in Burbank, CA.
