Tall, muscular American actor. First gained attention from his memorable portrayal of Noah, the leader of the Caveman tribe in _Guerre du feu, La (1981)_ (qv). With his rugged physique, cold, sinister stare and husky, whispering voice, Everett became usually memorable and well cast in villainous roles, such as the double-crossing FBI Agent Killifer in _Licence to Kill (1989)_ (qv) and as Penn, the terrorist leader in _Under Siege 2: Dark Territory (1995)_ (qv).
