Jeff McCracken has successfully enjoyed a multifaceted career in all areas of the entertainment industry. Whether it's comedy or drama, he is an accomplished actor, director, and producer in feature films, television and the theater. He grew up in Chicago (South Side and North Side), and after getting out of the Air Force he studied with Sanford Meisner and Bill Alderson at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City. Between bartending and cab driving jobs, he appeared in numerous productions on Broadway, off-Broadway, and working at the acclaimed Circle Repertory Company in New York City where he originated roles and appeared in new works by such playwirghts as Lanford Wilson, Beth Henley and Lee Kalcheim. He also starred in movies such as One Man Jury, Kent State, Summmer Of Fear and Running Brave. And while appearing on Broadway, the acclaimed producer, Steven Bochco, saw Jeff and brought him to Hollywood to star in a short lived television series about minor league baseball entitled, Bay City Blues, that boasted a wonderful ensemble cast that included Dennis Franz, Sharon Stone, and Mykel T Williamson. He was then tapped to star in the television movie, Honolulu Run, that became the basis for another short lived television series he starred in called, Hawaiian Heat. [MORE]
