Steve Antin
Born: Feb 17, 1961
Born February 17th, 1961, in Portland, Oregon, U.S.A., Steve moved to Los Angeles, where he made his film debut in the teenaged slasher flick, _Sweet 16 (1981)_ (qv), opposite ‘Bo Hopkins’ (qv). The following year he broke all of the girls hearts in the popular Cannon produced film, _Last American Virgin, The (1982)_ (qv), alongside ‘Lawrence Monoson’ (qv). Roles in _Goonies, The (1985)_ (qv) and _Survival Quest (1987)_ (qv), then led to what should have been his big break, when he co-starred with ‘Jodie Foster’ (qv) and ‘Kelly McGillis’ (qv) in the Academy Award winning film, _Accused, The (1988)_ (qv), as a fraternity undergraduate involved in a bar room rape incident. He then appeared in ‘Sandra Bernhard’ (qv)'s screen version of her hit one-woman Broadway show, _Without You I'm Nothing (1990)_ (qv), plus roles in the films _Drive (1991)_ (qv), _It's My Party (1996)_ (qv) and the romantic comedy-drama, _'Til There Was You (1997)_ (qv). Steve has also dabbled in writing and producing, starring opposite Bo Hopkins once again and an all-star cast in the independent film, _Inside Monkey Zetterland (1992)_ (qv). Steve adapted the screenplay _Gloria (1999)_ (qv), starring ‘Sharon Stone’ (qv) and ‘George C. Scott’ (qv), from the 1980 version by ‘John Cassavettes’ (qv).
